Abstract:The increasing integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) into vehicular communications and networking has opened new possibilities for enhancing safety, increasing efficiency, and enabling automation. However, these developments also pose significant challenges to security, privacy, and trustworthiness, especially as vehicular systems transition to 5G, 6G, and beyond. Traditional cryptographic and networking security measures alone are no longer enough to combat emerging threats like adversarial ML, privacy leaks, model poisoning, and backdoor attacks in safety-critical vehicular configurations.

This workshop offers a platform for researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to discuss the design of trustworthy, privacy-preserving, and adaptive AI systems for vehicular networks. Topics will include a wide range, such as cross-layer AI-driven security frameworks, privacy-preserving ML techniques, blockchain-based trust management, and real-time resilient AI architectures. The program offers a range of formats, including keynote presentations, technical paper sessions, poster presentations, and panel discussions featuring both academic and industry leaders. By focusing on the intersection of AI, security, and vehicular networking, the workshop aims to identify open challenges, highlight promising solutions, and shape research directions for trustworthy vehicular AI systems that can operate safely in dynamic, heterogeneous, and resource-constrained environments.
