Dr Yassir Makkawi attended the launch of Biochar Network held at the Royal Socoiet of Edinburgh this week. This is a new UK-Canadian research network (sponsored by the Leverhulme Trust) to investigate the potentials of biochar for carbon capture while increasing the soil quality.
