Dr. Hamrabadi is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Aston Business School, Aston University. His research focuses on Strategy, with particular emphasis on behavioural strategy, decision-making under uncertainty, relative performance, and location choice. His research has been published in leading international outlets such as Entrepreneurship & Regional Development, Journal of Technology Transfer, and Cross Cultural & Strategic Management, and has received several recognitions, such as being the recipient of the Best Paper Award and also been selected as a finalist for the Best Paper in Global Strategy Award at the Academy of Management (International Management Division).

Dr. Hamrabadi received his PhD in Economics and Management from the University of Trento, where he graduated with Distinction and was selected as the Best PhD Graduate of the programme. He also received his MSc in International Business and Development from the University of Parma.
