Biography

Ahmed is a highway and transportation engineer with research and practical experience of pavement engineering. Ahmed’s carrier started in 2005 as a pavement engineer then a consultant engineer following the completion of his master study in pavement engineering in 2013. In 2019 Ahmed completed his doctoral research at Nottingham Transportation Engineering Centre/ the University of Nottingham which he worked for as a research fellow in 2020. In 2021 Ahmed moved to Aston University as a research fellow. Ahmed’s experience includes design and analysis of asphalt pavement materials, pavement analysis and design, stochastic and probabilistic prediction of pavement performance, sustainability assessment of asphalt and asphalt pavements.
