    Biography

    Alexeis Garcia Perez is Professor of Digital Business & Society at Aston Business School, Aston University, and contribute his expertise as a Visiting Academic at Coventry University.

    He leads the Aston-Capgemini Centre of Excellence for Enterprise AI, a strategic partnership between Aston University and Capgemini, designed to bridge the gap between AI hype and enterprise reality.

    With a robust foundation in Computer Sciences, Alexeis’s academic background includes a PhD in Information Systems and Knowledge Management from Cranfield University. With this sociotechnical perspective, he explores the challenges of digital transformation and resilience within business and societal contexts. Alexeis has led teams delivering Information Systems programmes in both Computing and Business environments, including an MBA in Cyber Security.

    Alexeis has an extensive track record of securing competitive funding, supervising research (18 PhD students supervised to completion), managing large-scale collaborative projects and delivering innovative solutions. He has published 6 books and over 150 papers in conferences and academic journals.
