    Research Interests

    My research interests relate to psychological wellbeing in the workplace, and the role of motivation in career behaviours.  I have engaged in research and consultancy with organisations in a variety of sectors, including the care sector, housing, the prison service and police service.

    Teaching Activity

    I am co-Programme Director for the MSc Business Psychology and MSc Work Psychology and Business programmes.

     

    I am currently module leader for People and World Organisations (BHM357J)

    I also current teach on Workplace Design & Health (BHM356)

    Biography

    I am an occupational psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).  I am a Lecturer in Work Psychology in the Work and Organisations (WON) department.

    I am programme director for MSc Business Psychology and MSc Work Psychology and Business.

    I am module leader for People and World Organisations (BHM357J).  I also teach on Workplace Design & Health (BHM356).

     

    My research focuses on wellbeing in the workplace, with a particular focus on organisational factors contributing to employee wellbeing.

    I am Honorary Treasurer for the British Psychological Society's Division of Occupational Psychology.  I acted as interim editor on the augural issue of the Division's publication, Occupational Psychology Outlook.
