International Trade, Empirical Inustrial Organisation, Productivity, Technological Change, Intangibles, Applied Microeconomics & Econometrics


I am a Lecturer in Economics at the Department of Economics, Finance and Entrepreneurship at Aston Business School. I hold a BSc in Economics from University of Patras (Greece), an MSc in Economics from London School of Economics (UK), and a PhD in Economics from Ghent University (Belgium) during which I spent a semester on a research stay at London School of Economics (UK) and the National Bank of Belgium.

Before joining Aston I held research posts at the University of Oxford (UK) and KU Leuven (Belgium) where I was involved in various externally funded research projects, and served as consultant at the World Bank.

Currently I am an academic visitor at the Bank of England and have ongoing projects at the National Bank of Belgium.
