Bai XUE is a Lecturer in Accounting in the Accounting Department at Aston Business School, Aston University. She joined the Aston Business School since June 2020, after 6 years appointment with Southampton Business School.
She completed PhD in Accounting and Corporate Governance from School of Business and Economics, Loughborough University, and holds an MSc in Management from University of Sheffield and BSc in Biotechnology in Beijing Forestry University, China.
She teaches mainly financial accounting, sustainability accounting and management accounting at both under- and post-graduate levels. Her research interests include corporate governance in developed countries and emerging markets and non-profit sectors; audit market, audit quality and audit pricing; financial reporting in small and medium sized companies; and environmental performance and disclosure and the impact of CSR on corporate risk and performance.
