    Biography

    Becky joined Aston Business School as a Senior Teaching Fellow in August 2022, from her previous role as Associate Professor at Birmingham City University. She is currently Programme Director for the BSc Accounting and Finance, and co Learning and Teaching Director for the Accounting department. She is a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA), enjoying a career in both practice and industry settings prior to moving into education in 2005.

    Becky is an experienced teacher, holding roles across multiple sectors including professional training and Higher Education. She has held Programme Director and roles for undergraduate and professional courses throughout her career.

    Teaching Activity

    Teaching specialisms include management accounting, financial management and financial strategy. An experienced teacher, with a career in multiple education sectors, including both professional/executive training, and within Higher Education at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
