Biography
Chris Owen joined Aston University Business School in September 2011. Before joining Aston, he was a Senior Consultant in PwC Consulting in the Operations Competency. Over seven years with PwC Chris worked on a number of assignments with clients across a variety of sectors including Banking, Aerospace, Industrial Products, Construction, Public Sector (Home Affairs and Education), Utilities and Food Distribution. These assignments were in the broad area of Operations helping clients to tackle a range of issues including cost reduction, performance improvement and procurement. Chris has international experience having worked in Germany, Italy, the US and China. Originally trained as a Manufacturing Engineer in the Aerospace industry, prior to PwC, Chris held a number of roles in manufacturing systems, operations and supply chain with companies such as Dowty, Lucas, Goodrich and Invensys.
