Research Interests

My recent research has focused on individual differences in cognitive control and decision-making. I am interested in whether the speed and accuracy of our decisions in simple lab-based tasks can tell us about the way people approach the decisions they face in their daily lives. More broadly, I am interested in the development of reliable and meaningful measures of cognition. Other research interests include working memory, visual attention, and impulsivity. I have used a variety of approaches to study this, including cognitive modelling, eye tracking and neuroimaging.
