General

Daniel McAuley is a Lecturer in English and French at Aston. He specialises in urban and youth varieties of French, using corpus-based sociolinguistic methods. He has broader interests in multilingualism, language contact and the ways in which language use interacts with identity.

Research Interests

Daniel's major research interests are in corpus linguistics, language contact, youth and urban varieties, language and identity, language variation and change.
