Biography
I joined in 2022 the Department of Economics, Finance and Entrepreneurship at Aston Business School as an Assistant Professor (Lecturer) of Finance.
Before joining Aston Business School, I worked in multiple capacities in the industry. I was a Financial Risk Manager at Teya (a growing European Fintech), I was a data consultant at the European Central Bank (ESRB) and worked as a global macro consultant for the Portuguese Pension Fund Agency (current aum 22B Eur).
Furthermore, I hold a PhD in Finance from the University of Oxford (Christ Church College, Said Business School).

Research Interests
My research is focused on continuout time finance modelling with applications to Corporate Finance and Asset Pricing. Specifically, I have recently worked on the intersection of Real Options and Contract Theory, and worked on the impact of regulatory changes over the capital structure of financial institutions.
