PhD projects

I am interested in supervising PhD students who have an interest in investigating and solving real-life problems, including but not limited to Supply Chain Management, Productivity Improvement and Operations Performance, Inventory Planning and Control, Scheduling, Energy Management, including Demand Side Management, Capacity Management, Disruption Management and Resilience.
I would be particularly interested in those who are familiar with one or more than one quantitative technique such as Simulation, Optimisation, Heuristics Search algorithms, Metaheuristics, Mathematical Programming, Machine Learning, Business Computing and Applied Statistics.
