General
I have been a qualified optometrist for over 20 years and now work part time as a research assistant alongside Dr Flors Vinuela-Navarro. I am also a visiting clinician supervising final year students in the Aston Optometry School clinics and work part time in Optometric practice.
Teaching Activity
I am a visiting clinical supervisor of final year Primary Care clinics on the Bsc Optometry programme
Research Interests
My PhD involved research on accommodation and vergence relationships in an ageing population and my current research with Dr Flors Vinuela-Navarro is looking at ocular morphology and it's affect on accommodation in young adults with Down's Syndrome.
Clinical Experience
I have worked for over 20 years in Optometrc practice and continue to do so in a part time role for Boots Opticians
