Biography

I have been a qualified optometrist for over 25 years and work as a Teaching Fellow in Aston University School of Optometry where I lead on Binocular Vision and Paediatrics teaching as well as being Stage 2 lead for the MOptom programme.

Research Interests

My PhD involved research on accommodation and vergence relationships in an ageing population and more recent work was with Dr Flors Vinuela-Navarro is looking at ocular morphology and it's affect on accommodation in young adults with Down's Syndrome. I am interested in binocular vision and paediatric research.

Clinical Experience

I have worked for over 25 years in Optometrc practice, with many years in Primary care practices and the last 5 years in an academic setting, now specialising in Binocular Vision and Paediatrics
