Personal profile

Professor George Tadros pioneered a new model of Liaison Psychiatry that is known as RAID (Rapid Assessment and Interfaced Discharge).  He established its academic infra structure and clinical pathways, which are now implemented in 27 NHS Trusts around the country. He established the National RAID Network that has more than 600 members to spread good clinical practice in Liaison Psychiatry. His model has been recommended for the commissioning of Liaison Psychiatry and used as the benchmark for good practice by the Faculty of Liaison Psychiatry.

Professor Tadros is interested in the utilization of new technology in mental health. He has obtained £2 million grant from the innovation department to develop a new digital platform with predictive analytics to provide a new complete approach to mental health crisis.
