Personal profile
Research Interests
Dr Haoyu Wang's research focuses on transport systems and supply chain resilience, with particular emphasis on sustainable and low-carbon transitions. Dr Wang develops analytical and computational models to investigate pricing, coordination, and decision-making under uncertainty in transport and logistics systems. His work integrates game-theoretic optimisation, intelligent transport modelling, and data-driven methods, including simulation and deep reinforcement learning, to address challenges in rail, maritime, and urban mobility systems, including climate resilience, shared mobility, and autonomous transport.
Biography
Dr Haoyu Wang is a Lecturer in Transport and Engineering Management at Aston University.
