Biography
Francis has over 25 years of teaching, research and consultancy experience in the field of Transport. Before joining Aston University, he had been a Lecturer at the College of Professional and Continuing Education of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University for about 15 years, managing developing and delivering teaching materials for transport, statistics and mathematics related subjects up to post-graduate level. During his services at the HK PolyU, he has been a Principal Investigator and/or Project Leader for a number of funded research and consultancy projects.
Before joining the academia, he worked in an American transport consultancy firm, during which he worked on projects in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia and numerous cities in the Mainland China. This provided him with solid transport consultancy project experiences as Senior Transport Analyst and Quality Assurance Manager.
He is currently a Chartered Member of CILT(UK) and a Fellow of AdvanceHE.
