Research Interests

My primary research interest is in how accounting information is used in both the public sector and not-for-profit sector to both discharge accountability and to assist decision-making. I am particulalry interested in exploring the differing needs for accounting information and external repoting between the sectors.

A secondary research interest is in understanding the reasons that women are poorly represented in senior executive and board positions in the private sector.
