    Research Interests

    Dr Jeremy Chiang is a postdoctoral research associate at the School of Optometry, College of Health and Life Sciences in Aston University. His expertise lies in ocular surface imaging, particularly of the corneal nerves, in the diagnosis and management of ocular surface conditions including dry eye disease. His research vision is to see how different parts of our eyes could reflect our ocular and systemic health, with his PhD having focussed on corneal nerve changes in systemic neurotoxic chemotherapy used for cancer treatment. He has also worked as a clinical optometrist in Australia, as well as lecturing at his alma mater, the School of Optometry and Vision Science at the University of New South Wales. He is currently serving as an Associate Editor for the peer-reviewed journal Clinical and Experimental Optometry.
