    Biography

    Dr Jingbo (Jenny) Zhang is a Senior Lecturer in Commerical Law at Aston Law School. Previously, she worked as a Lecturer in Commercial and Maritime Law at the University of Southampton in 2014-2022. Her research interests are primarily in the fields of international sale of goods, international trade finance, carriage of goods by sea and commercial contract law. Apart from teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, Jenny has also been actively engaged in delivering professional training to both commercial and industrial partners. 

    In addition to publishing high quality research outputs in books and international journals, Jenny has been actively engaged in public policy making and law reform. She was invited by the House of Lords Select Committee, EU Internal Market sub-committee to provide expert evidence on the "Future of EU-UK Transport Arrangements post Brexit" in 2018, and she has also contributed to the current Law Commission reform on Electronic Trade Documents. She was elected as the Co-Convenor of the Contract, Commercial and Consumer Law Section for the Society of Legal Scholars Annual Conference in 2019-2021.
