I am AAT and ACCA qualified. My first career involved working through from from accounts assistant to auditor to finance director. I started teaching in 2008 and became course leader for ACCA and CIMA professional accounting courses as well as leading accounting, reporting and tax modules for undergrad and post grad courses. It became clear that neither professional or academic courses were meeting the needs of employers. I worked through leading a Trailblazer Group of employers until the Secretary of State for Education signed off the highest funding band for the digital systems-based Accounting and Finance Manager Degree Apprenticeship.

My training and experience leads me to enjoy teaching a wide ange of accounting-related topics: audit, tax, reporting (statutory and management) and all combined in systems implementation and general management or entrprenuerial classes.

My primary work has been analysing thousands of adverts and interviews with employers want and translating it into a degree apprenticeship. Now I am working with employers, publishers and universities to deliver it.
