    • A member of SARI - Systems Analytics Research Institute.
    • External Examiner for the Mathematics Programmes at Northumbria University.
    • A Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
    • A RITE mentor at Aston University.
    • A member of the SEAS Learning and Teaching Committee.

    • Postgraduate Programme Director for the MSc by Research PANN - Pattern Analysis and Neural Networks - 2004-2008.
    • Post-Graduate Programme Director for the MSc by Research MACS - MAthematics of Complex Systems - (2009-2011).
    • Undergraduate Programme Director for Mathematics Programmes at Aston University (2011-2019).
