Biography

I first joined Aston Business School in September 1999, as a Sessional Lecturer. I continued in this role until September 2012 when I was appointed as a Teaching Fellow, working on a part-time basis. I became Associate Dean: Learning and Teaching in March 2018, then Associate Pro-Vice Chancellor (International) in November 2019. I was promoted to my current role of Associate Pro-Vice Chancellor (Engagement) in March 2021. I was appointed as the University's first Professor of Practice in July 2021.

Prior to joining Aston I worked as Head of HR in a large manufacturing organisation. I then left to set up my own consultancy business.
I am a Lay Member of the Employment Tribunals, sitting in Birmingham.
