Biography
Dr Laura Di Chiacchio is a cybersecurity lecturer at Aston Business School and researcher at the Cyber Security Innovation Centre. She specialises in cybersecurity awareness and the intersection between technology, human and organisation behaviour. Laura’s research has been presented at international conferences and published in leading international journals. Laura actively engages in outreach activities, including delivering the Cybersecurity Bootcamp, Catch the Flag events, and conferences aimed at raising awareness about cybersecurity education pathways and cybersecurity risks. She is an APMG certified Cyber Security University Instructor and a member of ISACA UK Central Chapter and ECR British Academy of Management special interest group.
She was awarded the Ede and Ravenscroft Prize for Academic Excellence at Coventry University. She was awarded two PhDs from the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena (UPCT) in Spain and Coventry University in a co-tutelle arrangement.
