Biography
Dr. Majid Azadi (SFHEA) is an Assistant Professor of Business Analytics at Aston Business School, Aston University and serves as Associate Editor and Social Media Editor of the IMA Journal of Management Mathematics, published by Oxford University Press.
He earned his PhD in Business Analytics and Operations Management from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) in 2021. Before joining Aston, he was awarded the prestigious Alfred Deakin Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Deakin University. Majid has a diverse background, with experience across both academia and industry, and has received several research awards in recognition of his contributions.
His research interests include Business Analytics, Operations Management, Operations Research, Resilient and Sustainable Supply Chains, and Information Systems. Majid has published more than 60 research papers in leading academic journals, such as the European Journal of Operational Research, Decision Support Systems, Transportation Research Part E, International Journal of Production Economics, Computers & Operations Research, Journal of the Operational Research Society, International Journal of Production Research, and Annals of Operations Research, among others.
