Biography
Michael started his career at P&G and L’Oreal before moving to the C-suite of Nestle and Müller. Most recently as the former chief marketing director and strategy director for Müller, Michael led ground-breaking brand building delivering record results along with awards (The Grocer's brand of the year 2014, Marketing Week award 2021). Michael is now the managing director of Sport&Brands a strategy consultancy in sport, activity and healthy lifestyle, a company he co-founded. Michael is passionate about the impact of sport on society both as a qualified athletics coach and as a trustee of the Women’s Sport Trust (2017-2022) and of Take Her Lead (Since 2022).
Michael is a fellow of the Marketing Society, a fellow of the Marketing academy and a teaching fellow in marketing and strategy at Aston University.
Research Interests
Michael is an ExecPhD candidate at Universite Paris Dauphine-PSL. His work focuses on marketing especially on the concept of Brand Purpose.
