Mohammad M. Hosseini obtained his BSc degree in Electrical Engineering from the Iran University of Science and Technology with a first-class honor (GPA: 18.5/20). He continued studying Photonics at the University of Tehran and defended his these titled ‘Modal Analysis of Optical D-fiber Using Generalized Multipole Technique’ with an excellent grade. Currently, he is a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Ph.D. student at the Aston University under the supervision of Prof. Sergei Turitsyn and working on optical network architectures with the collaboration of Infinera and Orange to develop cost-efficient network solutions. His research interests are optical communication networks, applied optimizations, and computational electromagnetics.
