Biography

I worked as a translator and social worker before starting to teach German, English and women’s self-defence. My connection with Aston goes back to 1987 when I did the very first Certificate in TEFL course run by the then Language Studies Unit. The following year I started teaching on EAP courses, and went from there to get involved with the expansion of EAP/ESP short course provision, as well as distance learning and on-campus teacher training courses.
