Biography

Narek Grigorian is a Teaching Fellow in Marketing at Aston Business School since January 2023. In his current role, Narek is teaching a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate modules, such as Introduction to Marketing Management (BM1155), International Marketing (BM3339), Strategic Brand Management (BMM642), Creating and Communicating Customer Value (BMM665), and Marketing Strategy (BMM604J). Before joining Aston, Narek was working as a Teaching Fellow in Marketing at the London School of Economics and Political Science (2017-2022). His main responsibilities at the L.S.E. included teaching introductory Marketing to 2nd year undergraduate Management students as well as Marketing, and Consumer Behaviour to L.S.E. Summer School students. Narek is currently working to complete his doctoral studies. In particular, his dissertation explores brand delegitimation processes in contexts of crisis and uncertainty, following the research tradition of Consumer Culture Theory (CCT) and Institutional Theory. He holds a Bachelor in Business Administration with Distinction from the University of Macedonia (Thessaloniki-Greece) and an M.Sc. in Marketing and Strategy with Merit from Warwick Business School (W.B.S-University of Warwick), funded by the George and Victoria Karelias Foundation's Excellence Scholarship Program. Narek is currently a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
