Rachel Casemore is a Lecturer in Optometry, at Aston University Optometry School. She is a qualified optometrist with over 25 years of experience working in Optometric practice. She has been a clinical supervisor on the optometry programme since 2019 and is an associate fellow of the higher education academy. Having completed her PhD in 2024, she now continues to focus her research activity on the early development of evaporative dry eye disease, with a specific focus on lifestyle factors, clinical signs and molecular biomarkers.
