    Research Interests

    My research interest is focused on developing reliable control strategies for many-body, multi-scale, stochastic systems exhibiting characteristics such as nonlinearity, uncertainty and hysteresis that will be endemic in future emergent systems. More specifically, my research activities focuses on these three areas: (1) Novel probabilistic control methods based on: Bayesian inference; dynamic programming; fully probabilistic design; and probabilistic pinning control; (2) Randomised distributed control: probabilistic nonlinear control for achieving the desired global behaviour of the network; probabilistic inference methods for message passing; and (3) Probabilistic estimation of the system dynamics: Gaussian description of the system dynamics; Non-Gaussian description of the system dynamics; complex distributed systems’ dynamics (both Gaussian and Non-Gaussian).
