I am willing to work with PhD students who would like to explore the role of accounting in operationalizing policy / strategic aims, using a qualitative research approach. The following are some broad research areas which I am happy to consider for PhD supervision:

1. Operatinalization of Sustainable Development Goals.
2. Governance and control of Higher Education Sector.
3. Rationalization and operationalization of public policies in education, health and infrastructure sectors.
4. Implications for accounting controls in network form of public sector organizations.
