Personal profile

Research Interests

My research examines cybersecurity culture change and resilience in public healthcare organisations, with a focus on the cognitive and behavioural factors that shape how healthcare professionals respond to evolving digital security demands. Drawing on Cognitive Inertia Theory, Organisational Unlearning, and Protection Motivation Theory, I investigate how individual unlearning, relearning, and community norms influence cybersecurity-protective behaviour in high-stakes clinical environments. My empirical work is situated within Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 digital transformation agenda, exploring compliance behaviour, security empowerment, and institutional change across multilevel organisational contexts. I apply quantitative methods including CB-SEM with maximum likelihood estimation in SmartPLS to analyse validated survey data from public health clusters. My broader research interests include human factors in information security, HR analytics and cybersecurity policy, and the design of culturally sensitive awareness interventions in non-Western healthcare settings.
