Personal profile

Biography

As a computer engineer specialising in biomedical applications, I develop intelligent healthcare systems that bridge technology and medicine. My expertise lies in creating Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) frameworks that transform patient care through advanced monitoring and intervention.

I engineer sophisticated EEG/ECG biosignal acquisition systems with bespoke hardware interfaces and real-time processing algorithms. These underpin my comprehensive health monitoring platforms for older adults, leveraging edge computing for efficient on-device processing.

My research explores photobiomodulation therapy for oral mucositis in cancer patients, where I've engineered precise control systems that modulate light parameters based on tissue feedback. My algorithms optimise therapeutic light delivery whilst minimising energy consumption.

Similarly, I've designed computerised vagus nerve stimulation systems with microcontroller-based platforms delivering calibrated electrical impulses through adaptive protocols that respond to physiological feedback.
