Biography
With a professional background in immigration and human rights law, I joined the Aston University Business School in January 2024 as an MSc/LLM Academic Support Tutor, after working in Higher Education as a Senior Visa Compliance Officer and International Student Adviser.
I am also a PhD student at the University of Bristol Law School researching the conceptual nexus between statelessness and genocide, focusing on the Rohingya of Myanmar and the 1982 Burmese Nationality Law

Teaching Activity
Aston University LLB
Assisted course director on Aston University LLB Hons programme – International Human Rights law module for final year students. This role involved weekly webinars with student to discuss human rights issues around the world. Also, delivering lectures and tutorials both in-person and recorded on numerous subjects relating to but not restricted to genocide, state crime, refugee and migrant law, regional human rights frameworks amongst others.
