Yasaman Yazdanpanah

Yasaman Yazdanpanah is a committed PhD researcher at Aston University (Birmingham, UK), with a focus on entrepreneurship and internationalization. She has been awarded a fully funded PhD studentship by Aston Business School in January 2024, recognizing her academic potential and dedication.

Yasaman actively participates in academic and professional communities, contributing to esteemed conferences such as the 50th AIB UK & Ireland Chapter Conference 2024 organized by Aston University, and the 2nd International Conference on Navigating the AI Nexus, organized by Brunel University London. Her engagement in these events highlights her commitment to sharing and refining her research through constructive communication with experienced academics. Notably, in July 2024, she received recognition for her presentation at Brunel University’s AI Nexus Conference, showcasing her growing influence in her field.

Fueled by a deep passion for entrepreneurship research, Yasaman actively collaborates with international researchers and esteemed professors. Her dedication to advancing the field is exemplified by her impactful contribution through a published article in the International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behavior & Research.

Focusing on the broad field of international entrepreneurship, Yasaman is particularly interested in the entrepreneurial activities that lead to internationalisation. Her main research interests include:

• The internationalisation process of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
• The cognitive behaviours of entrepreneurs in relation to internationalisation activities.
• Investigating the challenges and opportunities SMEs and entrepreneurs encounter in dynamic international markets.
• Examining how SMEs and entrepreneurs adapt their strategies in response to evolving global contexts.

Yasaman delivered a seminar on International Business to 60 Msc students as a guest lecturer.
