Biography
Dr Yu Jia is a Senior Lecturer at Aston University since 2019, having previously been an Associate Professor at University of Chester. Dr Jia has a PhD from University of Cambridge's Nanoscience Centre. Dr Jia's research expertise is on nonlinear micro-dynamics, functional nanomaterials, energy harvesting and smart sensing. Dr Jia has:
- published 62 journal articles, 58 international conference papers, filed 12 patents,
- been a PI/Co-I for £3.8 million (£1.3M to institution) worth of funding, and a named researcher for £800k worth of projects,
- 2770 citations, h-index: 28, i10-index: 57
