    Biography

    Dr Zhuangzhuang Dai is a Lecturer in Computer Science in Aston University. Before joining Aston, Dr Zhuangzhuang Dai was a NIST Software Engineer in the Cyber Physical Systems group, University of Oxford, working on Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) systems for emergency responders and robots. Dr Zhuangzhuang Dai completed a knowledge transfer project between Extronics Ltd. and University of Manchester delivering a flagship RFID device. Zhuangzhuang was awarded Ph.D. from University of Bath using an RF modelling approach to localization and navigation. Zhuangzhuang’s areas of interest include sensor fusion, embedded systems, Machine Learning, computer vision, propagation modelling, IoT, and urban data science.
