Socrel (British Sociological Association study group for the Sociology of Religion) annually invites essay submissions on any aspect of contemporary religion addressed from a sociological perspective. The winner of the Essay Prize will win a full pass for the Annual Socrel Conference, a cheque for £100 and a year’s subscription to the Journal of Contemporary Religion.
