Abstract
The textbook was compiled in accordance with the program of the module "Banking regulation and supervision" for students of economic specialties of higher educational institutions of Ukraine.
The theoretical foundations of bank supervision, its forms and methods are revealed. The tasks, functions and operations of the Central bank regarding the supervision and regulation of banks' activities are highlighted. The methods of banking supervision and instruments for regulating the activity of banks are comprehensively characterized.
The textbook includes a synopsis of lectures on each topic of the discipline, study and control tests, a list of recommended literature for the course as a whole.
