Abstract
We demonstrate a single-wavelength mode-division multiplexing free-space optical com munication system utilising 6 Hermite-Gaussian modes. By employing probabilistic-shaped 256-QAM signals at 80GBaud, this system achieved a record-high line rate of 5.07Tbit/s/λ in free-space optical communications.
