Abstract
This chapter examines the distinctive approach of the Centre for Research in Ethnic Minority Entrepreneurship (CREME) as a boundary organisation, bridging the gap between academic research and policy practice. Through engaged scholarship, collaborative partnerships, and community initiatives, CREME amplifies the voices of marginalised entrepreneurs to shape inclusive enterprise policy. Case studies illustrate CREME's impact in reshaping entrepreneurial ecosystems, facilitating skills development, and expanding self-employment pathways for ethnic minority communities. The chapter reflects on CREME's model for engaged research and provides recommendations for academics seeking to drive meaningful social change in partnership with minority entrepreneurs and policymakers.
