Abstract

The application of the Volterra integral equation method to investigations of the electromagnetic fields interaction with a non-linear medium in a dielectric layer is considered. Transformation of the initial Gaussian pulse and the modulated Gaussian pulse is computed. Complexity of the pulses is calculated by virtue of Crutchfield 'statistical complexity' measure and its change in time is shown.
