Abstract
This case study demonstrates how small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) can implement digital transformation using the ISA-95 framework and PrOH Modelling. The approach ensured stakeholder alignment and minimized resistance. Quick wins included an in-house IoT pilot for monitoring and counting finished product counts with Power BI dashboards using existing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) data. These initiatives demonstrated how incremental low-cost digitalisation improves efficiency and gains stakeholder buy-in for larger investments such as cloud-based systems. In this case, a
Manufacturing Execution System (MES) was implemented. This study provides SMEs with practical steps for digital transformation, emphasizing measurable outcomes and effective change management.
