English Commorientes and Joint Tenancies – A Fresh Look at Section 184 of the Law of Property Act 1925

This paper considers critically the operation of the Commorientes Rules as set out in S.184 Law of Property Act 1925 in England and Wales. In the light of the experience of other common law jurisdictions, law reform proposals are considered and advanced, as to how the operation of this current rule should be amended.
