N2 - We compare S-band long-haul transmission of 30GBaud DP-16-QAM WDM signals using TDFA, distributed Raman and three types lumped Raman amplifiers over 1050km SSMF. Distributed Raman amplifier performed the best, followed by TDFA and lumped Raman.
