Abstract

Customized ultrahigh repetition rate pulse bursts are demonstrated with phasemodulated fiber Bragg gratings (PM-FBGs) in transmission for the first time. Examples of three, four and eight replicas with a repetition rate of 100GHz in one period of the input pulse are designed and numerically simulated.
