Impact of nonlinear broadening on the optimal characteristics of high-power P2O5-doped fibre lasers

Abstract

The impact of intra-cavity Stokes wave broadening on the performance of P2O5-doped fibre lasers is investigated. It is shown that nonlinear broadening of the radiation strongly affects laser performance and optimal configuration of the cavity.
